A Little Bit of BMD Fun

Kip, Fin, Shep, Kala, and Luke... Bay View Lookoff of the Copper Mine Trail...

... Kip and John... John is hauling the 90-lb-50-ft tobbogan along just for the extra fun...

...Fin and Lori, making it through with eyes tightly shut...

...getting through the tree line, Governor's Island and the South Shore in the background...

...Kala's first big hike, and he is overjoyed...

../ it about here that we decided that perhaps there wasn't enough snow on the mountains for the sled...

... I would like to have a paddle day across to Governor's island, tramp through the brush and have a boil-up and skating party at the giant pond... anyone???

... so close to the top...

... and on the way down, because there had been so much effort in dragging the sled up, of course we took any and every opportunity to try to have a go...

...two herding/retrieving dogs and lots of shouting and glee with high speeds down a slippery slope might not be the best mix...

... not to mention trees and limited steering...

... nearly lost a few elbows and knees, but everyone survived. What's a day without a bit of carnage anyway!?
Good times on the Blomidons once again!
