Bird Tree

Our tree is up, I am so pleased. This year, instead of going into the woods to cut our tree down, we chose to use one of the tops from one of the many trees that were toppled in the wind storm we just experienced a few days ago. It looks way more symmetrical in the photo, and not to everyone's taste, but each year we tend towards the more interestingly shaped trees, so this one fits right in. It is certainly the thickest and fullest tree we have ever had, and really houses all my birds well.

... the beautiful doves at the top of the top. Trimming a tree full of brids is one of my favorite traditions of our Christmas holiday.
