Bathrooms are Important Too

After all the crud was heaved out, the bathroom needed a few minor repairs... like a new floor, new walls, new toilet, new sink, and I decided that because it is on the smallish size (and really, why waste space on the bathroom, the things that happen there are pretty straight forward as far as I am concerned), we would install a shower and lose the too-small-anyway-tub...

...new walls, new window trim, new floor, new flooring, and beginings of the shower base...

... I opted for a turquoise-y blue for the paint, and very white trim, as through the rest of the house...

...love the pedestal sinks...

... and there is the shower door, on the new flooring in the hallway...

...new shower! I really love that it is round; this way the door doesn't swing into something, and also the shape is great for the house.
This is the view from the bathroom window: in the spring, the cherry trees are in full blossom, and now, the beautiful bright reds really stand out. Sweet spot!
