Sheep of Gros Morne

I started a series of four paintings this past winter, just to work out a few ideas... they turned into the Sheep of Gros Morne that I have seen on the trails of the Green Gardens hike in Gros Morne National Park. I love how they run along the rocky beaches amongst washed up lobster traps and driftwood, and gather in the tall grasses and the rivers of blue flags on the high plateaus with the ocean and sky as their backdrop.

They are now at Neddy's Harbour Inn, as part of the LAWN exhibit in celebration of the Trails Tales and Tunes event in Norris Point and Rocky Harbour. Check it out!
